Bugs are eating my radish leaves. Attached is a photo. Something else is also eating my kale leaves all the way down to the stem, unsure if it is a bug or a rabbit but so far it has only been one plant... :-|
The insect pictured is an aphid (Aphididae, Homoptera). The individual shown in the photo is dead, possibly parasitized.
Needless to say, aphids would not be responsible for any consumed leaves of Radish (Raphanus raphanistrum ssp. sativus) or Kale (Brassica oleracea Acephala Group). Aphids are are sucking insects that only drink plant fluids.
