Looks like it is coming along nicely! I've grown broccoli once before, and had moderate success, but I would like to try again at some point here in Japan. It's a vegetable we eat quite regularly so it would be nice to have it growing fresh in the yard.

Oh wow..it looks so healthy and green! The leaves are gorgeous; do you eat them or just the broccoli themselves?

Your broccoli looks great!:D I bet it will be super delicious.
IcyBC - As far as I know, leaves are edible too, but they aren't very tasty.

This is my first time growing broccoli. I do not see myself eating the leaves. These plants really are amazing. I only planted 4 plants as a test. Next year I will plant more.

Since the leaves look like a healthy green to eat, you know like those mustard green that we buy to cook, or collard greens. When we buy broccoli at the market and it has some baby leaves, my mom usually cooked them with the broccoli and they are quite good.

Your gorgeous leaves have me thinking about eating them, lol..

Really nice! Are you growing the organically? If so, then I must say it's really wonderful you guys can eat organic broccoli, since I read about the dirty dozen a few months ago I feel so wary when I eat something that is not organic.

Congrats on the broccoli! I have only grown it one time and we didn't get very big crowns from it. I am not sure if the heat got to them or what happened. Seems like every time we try to plant it, we have a drought or a record amount of rain! If you have any tips on how to get the best crop from broccoli, I would appreciate it! Broccoli is one of my favorite veggies, just never have any success growing it myself.

Gee, your broccoli looks great and I'm sure my husband would salivate on that pic. He loves broccoli and in times when our dish is fried like chicken or meat, he would buy a head of broccoli and steam it or fry it in butter to serve as garnishing for the fried dish. You know, it is my husband's wish to have broccoli in our garden someday but we are not confident on that because we are not sure if it will grow in a hot place like ours.
