Hello fellow gardeners,

After some fabulous help and advice for my echeveria, I wanted to ask for some advice for one more plant: My Bella Donna Lipstick plant.

I can see a mouldy type layer on top of the soil, and a weird long puffy mushroom was also growing out of the soil. Must be some kind of fungus, and I read that I should put cinnamon on the top soil, but just wanted to check with more seasoned gardeners on this forum what I should do, and whether this can spread to other plants? Are there any more seasoned Bella Donna Lipstick plant owners?

Thank you :)

You should not be worried about mushroom, they are only trying to break down dead material, not harm the plant. But you can usually fungus with a good reporting.
