Hi everyone, I am still new to this forum. Very Glad to find it. Apologize If i Posted wrong in this thread . I planted bell pepper here in Indonesia. I am aware that bell pepper are not suited to planting in the lowland tropics, but I think it is still worth a challenge. so here I with some bell pepper growing as in the pictures below. Still green, not yet mature peppers, but only few on each plant. The problems I experienced are flower bud drop due to high temps, but that I am aware of and managed to get better fruit forming with some shade cloth/net. I realized that there is another major problem in the forming buds. The flower buds turned brownish from the outside while small. I researched blossom end rot, but it does not seem like blossom end rot, as most of my bell pepper that formed are healthy looking. I wonder what is the cause of this brownish black looking flower bud. usually, if the buds got brownish, the buds does not pollinate well, and will fall thereafter. I realize that heat problem will only turn the peduncle yellowish and then drop, without affecting the flower bud. This browning bud really piss me off. Please help me anyone out there, could it be due to overly P and K fertilizer? because I used foliar spray strong in P and K, and some epsom salt as well. here are the pictures below, with some samples of my bell pepper growing
