Beetles or Beatles

It is a common confusion, not just here, I see it all the time.

If you are talking the insects it is 'Beetles', if it is the group it is 'Beatles'. As fans of Buddy Holly and the Crickets they fancied an insect name, and John came up with the pun, because they were into the 'beat'.

Those are fancy, my hat and veil are a cardboard top hat with a veil made from a section of old fireguard, and I have a bee suit made from a white boiler suit. Think I will put out a bait hive next year and see if I can get some bees again, there is a careless beekeeper in the village who loses swarms every so often.
