Bamboo Palm getting worse

Hi,

i've had a bamboo palm for over a year now (pictures below), but lately it seems to be losing more and more leaves and alot of the tips are increasingly turning brown. I water thoroughly once a week (removing excess water that drains out) and the soil doesn't seem to be overly dry in between waterings. It's not next to a window but i'd say it gets low/moderate indirect light. Any suggestions or tips for bamboo palms?

thanks

You need to let the soil dry more between waterings. Don't flush the soil when you water because that will wash out all the water soluble nutrients. The tips are turning brown because of hard water or excess fertilizer. Too much direct sunlight can cause the leaves to burn. Use your finger to feel down two inches and allow the soil the soil to dry before watering.
