Are my yuccas too close to my house?

Wondering if these yuccas could pose a threat to my foundation since they have invasive roots.

Don't know. I have a bunch on the property.

I have a friend that dug up 300 don't know if she gave up or not.

Thank you for your response. I researched it earlier and it was mainly showing the larger yucca trees with bigger roots. I just know these yuccas do have tuber type roots and can get a taproot.

For now they're fine, but eventually they will be too big for the space. If you like the size, consider planting them in a pot and then bury them in the ground to control the size.

I would leave them where they are. I have some that are 10+ years old that are about 7' across. They bloom every year and are growing nicely. These are Yucca filamentosa varieties aren't they?

I love plants when they get large and run over hardscapes. makes it look more naturel.
