Hello!

I planted 20 thuja about a month ago (zone 5)

They actually grew about a foot but lately I’m seeing
That they are not as vibrant green and some branches
Turning pale/ yellowing. Also branches are droopy.

I think they are under watered. I had been watering for about 30 seconds with a hose every other day.

I’ve heard it should have been more like 2 minutes
Per tree with a hose, which I did last night.

I plan to keep water long every other day for 2 minutes per tree.

Question is how much longer should I do this? End of NOvember? Have I damaged their establishment process by under watering or will they recover?

Here’s a picture of one.

Every other day is far too often. You want to water deeply just once a week. Your water has to penetrate down past the roots so that the roots will grown down to cooler, wetter soil. Water them without the spray feature at a moderate flow and let the water penetrate, approximately 2 gallons per plant weekly if it doesn't rain.
