I am a new gardener. I planted some trees this winter and one of them isn't playing according to my tree training book. It is a trained Discovery Fan apple tree. I haven't attached it to any support yet, because I am clueless as to how to shape this one. It just doesn't have the obvious shape I expect to see as a newbie. Can someone, please, advise on how to proceed?
