Anyone know what this is

Had it for years, was given it but unsure what it is. Was told it was a curry plant but doesn’t look like any of the ones I’ve seen

Greetings, welcome to the Forums.

This is Lovage (Levisticum officinale) in the Celery Family (Apiaceae). Possibly, originally only native to eastern Iran and Afghanistan, Lovage became widely grown and occasionally naturalized around the Mediterranean and northern Europe in ancient times. This robust herb is still used today as a salad green, root vegetable, and culinary herb.
