Any ideas on this?

This is one of many new things we're discovering in our new yard. Any ideas what this shrub/bush might be?

It's a stump-sprouting deciduous tree with opposite leaves. I'm not certain, perhaps a Maple (Acer) or an Ash (Fraxinus).
Please post another photo after the leaves emerge.

Depending on when you moved in. that might need just a half pruning cut. If you noticed it sometime in December looking that way, then give it a 1/2 prune cut.
