This Alocasia is somewhat growing wild in forests here in the Philippines.
It looks like a macrorrhiza and was once confused to one but its noticeable features does include a somewhat kinda stripes on the stem which is absent to macrorrhiza.
Next is that its stem is long and slender even the young leaf has tall and slender stem. I can't tell if the plant is already matured but it is tall, even taller than my Alocasia zebrina which is actually arm length to mine.
Its leaves are also different to macrorrhiza. For starters, I thought it was portodora but the leaves are less wavier and the stems are much slimmer and longer. It might be potodora but I'm not quite sure... Any thoughts?
