Hi all ! I would love to get some help on this issue. This is my first Alocasia (not sure which type is). I got it a month ago and has been developing cracks and holes on its leaves, and most recently brown-yelowish areas on the center and edges. I assume is pests, so I have been spraying it with water, soap and oil mix. I don't see any bugs though. Otherwise the plants looks strong and healthy, it has been growing several new leaves.

Welcome to the forum @Maria Cati :)

I`m sorry I`m no expert on this subject, but am wondering if the problem could be the start of Taro leaf blight, which is a water borne problem ..... maybe you could look that up and see what you think.
I wish you good luck with this, and please let us know what happens
