Hy all, I just wanted to be sure from someone who is more experienced... I have just spotted tiny growth / node in my pot where Alocasia polly is thriving.

I guess it is fungi? Should I get rid of it and how, or leave it, and what to do to prevent it from appearing again?
Is it serious btw, never saw this before, but also this is my new plant so...

Best regards to all of you plant lovers! :*

It is just a type of fungi similar to a mushroom. It is beneficial and is breaking down the organic material in the soil. It will go away in a short time but others may appear. If you don't like it just remove it.

Mushrooms are typically the best thing that you can have for soil from my understanding
