Hi everybody. I’m new here. I have three 3 year old V. lentago, now close to 4 feet tall. A few months ago one started to have curling leaves (no white or brown spots, or pests that I can find) and quickly all leaves dried up and died. Now the other two are showing white spots on leaves, and the leaves are curling and dying.
They’re in partial shade. I chose them b/c they’re native to Ontario and I thought they’d do well there.
Google says powdery mildew but that shouldn’t kill the plant? All advice appreciated. Thanks!

It looks like you have 2 different problems. The second and third pics are classic powdery mildew. Treat appropriately. The first is a completely different problem. Are there any leaves left on that plant? Scratch a stem and see if there is any green under the bark. If there is, all is it not lost. More info on temps, watering and other symptoms would help.
