First batch of garlic is dried and trimmed for storage. Average size of bulbs is 120 grams. Largest bulb is 143 grams. Some bulbils are also drying for planting in October. It has been dry so leaving a row in the ground they didn’t grow any bigger and only three split. This is hardneck garlic.

Better than mine, but they were on a bit of ground I only got under cultivation last year with a crop of spuds to suppress the weeds, and it's not really full sun, I'm gradually getting this garden in hand.

Keep trying Oliver, took me about 5 years to propagate 5,000 bulbs from 3 of them

My garlic is approx. at the same state of progress; just got to trim off the dead growth and store.

This is the last of the conventionally planted garlic.
