The small patch of Indian Corn was harvested. Seventeen pound were obtained. It will be dried kernels removed and kept in bucket and used for gruel, porage.

Use to grow the stuff when I was a kid. No one ever ate the stuff just used it for decorations.

There is many acres of corn grown in this area.
I use the colored corn to make my gruel, porridge, I nixtamalize it then dry for storage then blend into a mash and cook in a double boiler.
